Anen Lines ferries linked the Athens port of Piraeus with a number of Greek island ferry ports. On 10/23/1998 the constitution of the new navigation company with the name "ANONYMOUS NAVIGATION COMPANY OF SOUTH" (Anen Lines) was signed. The purpose of the ferry operator is the acquisition and time-tabling of ferry services connecting the territories of west Crete, Antikithira, Kithira and south Peloponnisos, with an extension of the time-table for Piraeus.
Routes
Anen Lines ferry services from Piraeus (the main port of Athens) were to the ports of Antikythira, Kythira, Kissamos and Gytheion.
Anen Lines ferries between the ports of Neapoli, Kissamos, Kythira, Antikythira and Kalamata were also operated.

The Anen Lines ferry had 53 passenger cabins, space for up to 170 cars, and the ability to carry up to 700 passengers in the summer (457 in the winter). On board there were both self-service and a-la-carté restaurants. |
