About Bonifacio
The origin of Bonifacio is not really specified in the works but the approximate dates declare its creation between 828 and 833 by Boniface, marquis de Toscana, who baptized the city. Like all the commercial ports, Bonifacio has a long history and through times, the city underwent many social and economic changes.
Some of the main sights in Bonifacio are the churches of St Marie Majeure and St Dominique, the Aquarium of Bonifacio and the boat trips to the caves of Sdragonato.
Bonifacio is also a bustling town where you can trapeze round specialist boutiques and enjoy some fantastic Corsican cuisines in the restaurants and bars scattered around. For more active people, there are activities such as mountain biking, bungee jumping, diving and wind surfing.
Book your Bonifacio ferry crossing simply and securely online in real time and with instant email confirmation on AFerry.com.
