About Boulogne
The Port of Boulogne-sur-Mer is ideally situated being in the immediate vicinity of the busiest navigation channel in the world and at the junction between the Channel and the North Sea. In 2004 the short Channel crossing between Boulogne-sur-Mer and Dover was reinstated, thus making the Port of Boulogne one of the principal `gateways' into France from the UK.
The Port of Boulogne is also linked directly to the A16 motorway by dual carriage way making it extremely accessible for all the passengers. The Port is managed by the Boulogne-sur-Mer Côte d'Opale Chamber of Commerce and Industry who continue to provide the necessary investment for the future by means of the Region-State contract plan. This will enable to improve further the quality of existing harbour installations and offer more services to its customers.
Getting there
By Car
Take the motorway A16 from Calais or Rouen, exit at junction 29 and follow signs to the Boulogne Port.
Take the motorway A26 from Reims until your reach the N42 junction and then follow the N42 direction to Boulogne Port.
Car Parking
Free car parking facilities are available outside the Boulogne ferry terminal which is also linked directly by a walkway to the town centre.
