Buquebus Espana

Buquebús España operates a fleet of catamarans along the Gibraltar Straits between Algeciras in southern Spain and the Spanish enclave of Ceuta and the Moroccon port of Tanger, both in the north of Morocco. Buquebús España holds an important position in the passenger and freight services between these ports.

Buquebús España was founded in 1997 as part of the Grupo Buquebus, a Uruguayan ferry operator. Buquebús España became a subsidiary of Balearia Ferries in September 2007.
