Comanav Ferries Overview
Comanav, the Moroccan ferry, container and ro-ro vessel operator was created in 1946 and is Morocco's leading maritime shipping company. Comanav runs passenger ferry services between France, Italy and Morocco, a ferry in Senegal, and cargo ships across the globe. The company also operates the ferry port of Casablanca and will add the management of a container terminal at Tangier's new Mediterranée port to its business.
It has a strong market position in each of its three main sectors of activity:
1. Maritime transport of goods with regularly scheduled services by a fleet of vessels deployed from Morocco to locations throughout the Mediterranean.
2. Port activities in Morocco's largest ports through subsidiaries such as Somaport in Casablanca and its 20 percent stake in Tanger Med (the country's second largest container terminal).
3. Passenger transport, with five lines operating between Morocco and Europe, it is the country's leading passenger transport company.

- Sète-Nador (34 hours)
- Gênes-Tanger (48 hours)
- Algeciras-Tanger (2 hours)
- Alméria-Nador (6 hours)
- Alméria-Al Hoceima (6 hours)
Onboard Facilities
Comanav currently operates a mixed fleet of 12 ferries, container vessels and ro-ros, both owned and chartered. The Comanav ferry Marakech ferry is well equipped with a shop, comfortable cabins, swimming pool, two restaurants, and bars. |
