About Dieppe
Dieppe Ferry Port is located in the Normandie region of France and is an important ferry port on the English Channel. Dieppe was often a target in the wartime history mainly because of its strategic position as a port. However, in the 19th century Dieppe was proving to be a popular seaside resort amongst famous English artists like Arthur Symons owing to its wonderful pebble beach and natural surroundings.
Dieppe is also known for scallops and it is said that, it is only here that you can find the freshest and tasty scallops in the continent. Some of the sites of interest in Dieppe are the Chateau de Dieppe, Square du Canada and the churches of Saint Jacques and Saint Remi.
