Fastnet Line

Fastnet Line

Fastnet Line is a new ferry operator, with services between Cork and Swansea starting in March 2010. Fastnet Line was established in April 2010 and funded by a co-operative of local investors to restore the former service operated by Swansea Cork Ferries, which ceased in 2006.

There had been a long public campaign to restore this important transport link, which helps freight drivers cut out many miles of driving and connects Swansea port, only 5 miles from the M4, easily to the holiday regions in the south of Ireland.
