About Hook of Holland
Located on the western coast of the Netherlands, the Hook of Holland (Hoek van Holland) is a small ferry port connecting England with the Netherlands. The town and port is situated on the opposite side of the river from the hugely busy industrial and freight port of Rotterdam Europoort, and is only a short distance away from the lively city of Rotterdam.
The city offers many restaurants and cafes for short and long term visitors to enjoy and also offers many cycle and footpath walks along the Hook of Holland's pier and harbour and also across the sandy dunes that form backing to the 18km of lovely sandy beaches.

Getting There
By Car
If you are coming from Rotterdam, please follow A20/N20. From Den Haag follow E19/E30. When you have arrived in Hook of Holland, please follow the signs for 'Ferry to Harwich'.
By Rail
There is a local train service that stops right outside the ferry terminal at the station Hoek van Holland Haven.
