About Hull

Hull is an emerging UK city, with a wealth of architectural heritage that blends with innovative designs to create a vibrant, modern city centre that is full of character. From the Museum Quarter of the old town, to the Prince's Quay shopping centre, situated on a former dock, Hull is a city of contrast.

Hull also has many other locations of interest within its borders, such as the Ferens art gallery which houses a permanent collection of painting and sculptures ranging from the medieval to the present day, it also occasionally houses temporary exhibitions from all over the world.

There are also Hull's beautiful Queen's Gardens, built on top of the old Queen's dock; the gardens house seating areas, flowerbeds and several scenic lawns; on either end of the Queen's Gardens there is also the Mick Ronson Memorial Stage, where several musical events are booked each year.

Hull Terminal Facilities

Hull is the only passenger port on the river Humber, handling nearly one million passengers a year; it is also one of the UK's leading foreign-trading ports.

The passenger facilities of Hull's Port terminal are unfortunately very limited with only a small convenience store and a small coffee shop, along with the usual amenities such as toilets, and baby changing facilities, the port also has full special needs support, as well as full disabled access.
