NEL Lines Overview
The Greek ferry operator NEL Lines was founded in 1972 and provides ferries around Greece and the Greek Islands. NEL Lines has been serving the Greek community and the millions of tourists visiting Greece for over 35 years, and is based in Mytilini in Greece. NEL Lines is by far the leading Greek car passenger ferry operator for all destinations in the North-eastern Aegean, and now serve the Cyclades market with the most modern ferries in all of the Mediterranean.

Onboard Services
NEL Lines offer all passengers the highest quality services and facilities available. Onboard facilities include a restaurant, bars, retail shops and internet access corners are available on all ferries for passenger convenience. The NEL Lines fleet consists of eight ferries:
The ferry Aeolos Kenteris I has a capacity of 1000 passengers and up to 210 cars. The ferry is considered one of the fastest ships in the Mediterranean and has a cruising speed of 36 knots. The ferry sails between Piraeus and Rethymnon. It was built in 2000 and is an example of luxury and elegance; definitely one of the diamonds of the Greek commercial fleet.
The Aeolos Kenteris II was built in 2001 and is used on the Piraeus to Paros and Naxos ferry route. The ferry can carry up to 85 passengers and 190 cars.
The Theofilos is a true cruise ferry. Onboard facilities include a cafeteria, dining room, playground and club to ensure you of a pleasant and comfortable journey. The ferry sails from Pireaus to Chios and Mytilini and between Pireaus, Chios, Mytilini, Limnos and Thessaloniki.
The Taxiarchis has a cruising speed of 18 knots. In the summer the ferry can accommodate up to 591 passengers and in the winter 415 passenger. Carspaces onboard: 392.
The Mytilene is called the "Pearl of the Aegean sea" by the media. It sails between Pireaus, Chios and Mytilini with a cruising speed of 20 knots. Passenger capacity is in the summer 1730 and in the winter 980. Vehicle Capacity: 225. The ferry's sole purpose is to offer comfort from the very first moment of your trip.
The ferry Panagia Thalassini travels between the ferry ports of Lavrio, Syros, Paros, Naxos, Amorgos and Kythnos. The ferry was built in 1996 and travels with a cruising speed of 36 knots. It can carry 574 passengers and 148 vehicles.
The NEL Lines Panagia Tinou has a cruising speed of 17 knots and carries 400 passengers in the summer and 290 in the winter. Vehicle spaces onboard: 62. It travels from Lavrio to Anafi, Thira, Thirasia, Ios, Sikinos, Folegandros, Naxos, Paros, Mykonos, Siros, Donousa, Aigiali, Amorgos, Koufonisi, Shinousa, Heraklia, Kea, Kythnos, Tinos and Andros.
The Panagia Hozoviotissa travels between the ferry ports of Lavrio, Syros, Paros, Serifos, Sifnos, Kimolos, Milos, Kithnos, Kea, Andros, Naxos, Ios, Sikinos, Folegandros with a cruising speed of 15 knots. |
