Nice Ferries Overview

About Nice

Nice port is situated in the heart of Nice city centre, close to the historic section of the city. Near to the port are a host of attractions for visitors and tourists, there are several museums such as the museum of arts and natural history situated throughout Nice, along with some excellent art galleries.

Visitors to Nice can also enjoy a walk along one of Nice's promenades such as the famous La Promenade des Anglais, and later enjoy a meal at one of Nice's many restaurants of cafes. Nice also has several hotels so finding a hotel during your stay won't be difficult.

Nice Terminal Facilities

The comfortable, air-conditioned terminal buildings at Nice port terminal offer a wide range of facilities, such as food and drink services, children's play areas, telephones and TV lounges.

There is a free shuttle bus in the port of Nice, allowing passengers to move quickly from one side of the port to the other. The shuttle commutes from the SNCM dock ("Quai du Commerce") to the Corsica Ferries one ("Quai Infernet").

Getting There

By Car

On the motorway A8 Coming from West: exit N 50 Nice Centre/Airport/Nice Cote D'Azur. Follow the seashore along the Promenade des Anglais direction the Port. Follow Le Quai des Etats-Unis, le Quai Lunel and le Quai de la Douane for arrival at the port.

On the motorway A8 Coming from East: Exit N 55 Est. Follow the signs to the Port. Take La Penetrante du Paillon, continue onto La Route de Turin. Turn left at L'Avenue Denis Seimeria and continue on L'Avanue Gallieni. Turn right at Bd St. Roch and continue on Bd de l'Armee des Alpes. Turn right at La Gare de Riquier. Turn left at Rue Arson and continue at Le Quai des deux Emmanual for arrival at the port

. By Rail

You can come from Paris by train right to Nice at Gare Nice-Ville, avenue Thiers. There are also connections to Monaco, Menton, Italy and the rest of Europe as well as Marseilles, Lyon, Antibes, Cannes and Fréjus.

By Bus

There is a shuttle bus that runs between the train station, Nice city centre and the Nice Côte d'Azur airport; this runs primarily during busy tourist seasons of the year. There is also a shuttle bus service to many of the hotels of Nice from the port.
