About Ronne
Ronne is located on the small island of Bornholm off the east coast of mainland Denmark in the Baltic Sea, and is in fact much closer to Sweden than to Denmark. Ronne acts as the islands capital. The island lies approximately 150km east of Denmark's mainland, and is the most densely forested county in Denmark.
The island, described as idyllic by many of its visitors, is amongst Denmark's best-loved holiday retreats. The islands picturesque landscape and dramatic coastal vistas, speak for themselves, the beautiful rural landscape and the serene woodland makes it highly popular with tourists and visitors. Bornholm offers more than 200km of bicycle routes, which makes the island ideal as a location for bike enthusiasts, or holidaymakers who just want to experience some gentle outdoor bike riding.
Ronne Terminal Facilities
The port at Ronne contains a few amenities, such as luggage boxes located in the service centre and a tourist office located near the terminals, but as the port was built close to the town centre it is not difficult to locate any services or amenities that are required.
