About Roscoff
Roscoff is a small ferry port located in the north west of France, and is the perfect gateway to Brittany and the delights it has to offer. The local road and transport roots converge nearby making for easy access to the rest of France. Roscoff as a port was opened in 1973 and was the birthplace of ferry operator Brittany Ferries and is still the home of its main headquarters.
Roscoff has many sites to visit and explore such as the towns fishing quay or one of its many seafood restaurants, or if you'd like to relax how about visiting one of Roscoff's thalasso therapy centres. Roscoff also has beautiful coastline to explore and several beautiful beaches, many visitors have stated that the best beach in Roscoff to be the Laber.
Roscoff Terminal Facilities
The ferry terminal is quite limited in its range of facilities, though passengers will find vending machines with hot and cold refreshments as well as a small store. Provisions for those with disabilities include good wheelchair access throughout the port terminal, with specially adapted washrooms provided. Passengers should advise their ferry company of any special needs that they may have before travelling.
Getting There
By Car
From the south (Quimper and Brest) use the D69 road to arrive to Roscoff. From the West use (Rennes) use the N12 road then take the N58 road at Morlaix. |
