The SeaCat company ceased operation early in 2005, however the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company still operates 2 of the SeaCat ships which sail from Douglas on the Isle of Man to both Ireland and the UK.
Please note: As Seacat has now ceased operation, SeaCat ferries are no longer available to book with AFerry.com.
Built by InCat Australia for Sea Containers in Tasmania, SeaCat was the worlds' first vehicle-carrying catamaran.

SeaCat's design with long twin narrow hulls and aluminium construction enables it to achieve higher speeds than conventional ships. Driven by a unique water-jet propulsion system, SeaCat's cruising speed is 35 knots, with a top speed of 40 knots. The SeaCats wide beam gives the craft a spacious interior, allowing plenty of space for passengers to move around the craft easily.
Onboard services include restaurants serving hot meals, a snack bar, comfortable, spacious lounges and duty free shopping.
