SNAV Overview
SNAV is an Italian ferry company which currently operates ferry crossings that connects mainland Italy to Sicily, the Pontine Islands, Aeolian Islands, Capri, Ischia and Croatia.
SNAV (Societa Navigazione Alta Velocita) was originally formed by the Italian hydrofoil builders Rodriguez, but is now a part of MSC (Mediterranean Shipping Company - also owners of Mediterranean Shipping Cruises).

From Ancona (Italy) you can travel to Split in Croatia, and from Pescara (Italy) you can travel to Hvar (Stari Grad island) and Split in Croatia.

Onboard Facilities
SNAV has the fastest fleet in Europe, with some of the latest ferries. The fleet has traditional ferries, cruise ferries, high speed vessels and catamarans and hydrofoils. The catamarans and hydrofoils have cafeterias and snack bars onboard.
The high-speed craft travelling between Italy and Croatia also have a self-service restaurant, cinema, and shopping area onboard. The large cruise and traditional ferries of the fleet offer the latest in luxury services, including self-service and a la carte restaurants, traditional pizzeria, a bar disco where you can dance and drink cocktails, wine bar, piano bar, shopping area, cinema, casino and slot machines, and play areas for children. |
