Superfast Ferries Overview
Superfast Ferries is the leading Greek operator who has one of the youngest and fastest fleets in the Adriatic and sails between Italy, Corfu and Greece, and now also from Athens (Piraeus) to Crete (Heraklion).
Superfast Ferries was founded in 1993 by Pericles Panagopulos and Alexander Panagopulos. Together with Blue Star Ferries, who run ferry crossings between the Greek islands, it is a subsidiary company of Attica Group.
Routes
With AFerry.com you can book the Superfast Ferries sailings from Bari and Ancona (Italy) to Igoumenitsa and Patras (both in Greece), and from Bari to the Greek island of Corfu.
You can also book the new Superfast ferry service between Piraeus (mainland Greece) and Heraklion (Crete).
Superfast Ferries ceased operating the Rosyth (Scotland, UK) to Zeebrugge (Belgium) route in September 2008. This route is now served by Norfolkline. Please see our Norfolkline page to book this ferry service by clicking on the alternative operator link on the right.
Onboard Facilities
Superfast Ferries have a fleet of 6 modern car ferries, the latest launched in 2008. Each ferry has a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, and all the facilities needed to ensure a pleasant voyage.
On Superfast ferries you will find a choice of cabins, a la carte and self-service restaurants, spacious public lounges, indoor bars and outdoor snack/pool bars, Wi-Fi internet access on some ferries, and excellent shopping facilities, selling Greek delicacies, perfumes, fashion, wines and spirits and more, on all vessels. There are also swimming pool facilities and late night discos on some Superfast ferries.
The ultra-modern Superfast XII, built in 2002, serves the Heraklion to Piraeus connection. |
