Tallink is an Estonian maritime operator who provides cruise-style ferry crossings between Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Latvia and Germany. Since 1989 Tallink has run cruise and cargo ferries between Helsinki and Tallinn. Tallink established itself in Sweden in 1997, when the operator started a cargo line between Kapellskär and Paldiski.
In 2006 the Tallink group (AS Tallink Grupp) took over Finland's Silja Line, and it now operates on 7 shipping routes under the Tallink and Silja Line brands and has become regarded as one of the largest ferry companies in the Baltic Sea.
