TransEuropa Ferries
Transeuropa Ferries offer the only passenger ferry service operating in both the ferry ports of Ramsgate in England and Ostend (Oostende) in Belgium. This means Transeuropa Ferries are unaffected by queues which may form at other ferry ports. Ostend is over 80km closer to the Netherlands, most of Germany and Eastern Europe than Calais.
Foot passengers and coaches are not accepted on Transeuropa ferry crossings, the ferry operator only transports cars, caravans, mobile homes, motorcycles and freight vehicles. As Transeuropa Ferries limit the number of passengers on their ferries all passengers can relax in comfort. Transeuropa Shipping Lines has been operating successfully between the two ferry ports of Ramsgate and Ostend since 21 November 1998. The company Transeuropa Ferries N.V. was founded on the first of June 2001, and started carrying passengers in 2004.

Transeuropa Ferries have a fleet of 5 ships, of which 4 are used for passengers. Onboard you will find a variety of cosy Bistro style bars, cafeteria and restaurants with with an appealing selection of wines and beers.
On each ship you can enjoy Belgian, English or Italian cuisine in the a la carte restaurant, or enjoy a light meal in the family bistro areas or cafeteria. You can also watch movies, use the internet facilities, taste wine or cognac from the unique range or just book a cabin for an even quieter crossing.
