Varberg Ferries Overview
Using AFerry.com it's easy to check the latest offers, see timetables, and book tickets for a ferry crossing between Varberg and Grenaa in Northern Denmark with Stena Line.
About
Varberg, on the west coast of Sweden, is one of the country's most popular seaside resorts, and has a 200 year old reputation as a summer resort and health spa. The beaches are well-known throughout the country, as are the many traditional spa treatments and the imposing old fortress that dates from as far back as 1280.
Varberg is perhaps best known for its coastline, but that doesn't mean that the stunning lakes and forest just a few kilometres inland aren't equally enchanting. Varberg also has the buzz of nightlife throughout the summer, with many restaurants, outdoor cafés, pubs and concerts, and excellent shopping during the day on its town-centre cobbles and a big twice-weekly market.
Varberg Terminal Facilities
A free non-secure carpark is available in front of the terminal building.
Getting There
By Car
From the North you reach Varberg via the E6/Gothenbrug or via E6/Falkenberg from the South. Take Junction 55 onto the E41 - sign posted Varberg N / Boras and then follow signs to Varberg. The ferry port is clearly signposted once you reach Varberg.
By Rail
Thanks to Sweden's excellent rail system, Varberg is easily accessible by rail, with frequent connections from throughout the country. |
