Viking Lines Overview
Viking Line is a Finnish operator offering you the chance to cruise the world's largest archipelago between Finland and Sweden. With Viking Line you can travel on luxurious and spacious Viking Line ferries between the Nordic capitals of Helsinki and Stockholm, the Baltic capital of Talinn, or visit the unique Aland Islands via the ports of Mariehamn and Langnäs.
Viking Line commenced ferry services in 1959, when the ferry S/S Viking began sailing between Finland, the Aland Islands and Sweden. The modern Viking Line Abp was established in 1963 under the name Ålandsfärjan Ab. Today, Viking Line's ferry fleet is the youngest on the Baltic Sea, with all ferries having been designed with safety in mind for both passengers and crew.
Routes
With Viking Line you can cross from Helsinki (Finland) to Stockholm (Sweden) via Mariehamn (Aland Islands). Or you can sail between Turku (Finland) to Stockholm via the Aland Island ports of Mariehamn and Langnäs. Mariehamn can also be reached directly from both Stockholm and Kapellskär in Sweden, and there is a route between Helsinki and Tallinn in Estonia.

Onboard Facilities
On board any of the modern and comfortable Viking Line ferries you can enjoy a wide variety of entertainment and facilities including quality restaurants, live entertainers, dance floors, bars, lounges, shops, relaxing saunas, swimming pools and a number of other spa facilities.
Onboard all Viking Line ferries you can enjoy a delicious dinner with your crossing; on all ferries there is the longstanding tradition of the Viking buffet which offers a variety of tasty alternatives, and across the fleet you find a la carte, American-Italian, easy dining and café restaurants. Viking Line especially recommends their traditional Finnish cuisine.
There is a variety of quality cabins to choose from, ranging from a single conference cabin to our four-berth family cabin, or from a De Luxe cabin to a spacious suite. All cabins have a toilet, shower, radio and air conditioning.
The Helsinki to Mariehamn and Stockholm ferry crossing is served by the M/s Mariella, with casino, tax-free shops, boulevards and tradition for great cuisine, and the M/s Gabriella which is full of live entertainment, fantastic shopping, delicious restaurants and is famous for its luxurious balcony cabins.
On the Turku to Mariehamn, Langnäs and Stockholm crossing you will sail on the M/s Amorella or M/s Isabella which are both floating entertainment palaces, with live acts, delicious dishes and comfortable facilties for you to enjoy.
The Helsinki to Tallinn crossing is served by the M/s Viking XPRS which has multiple restaurants, a pub, nightclub and top-quality cabins.
Crossing between Stockholm and Mariehamn is Viking Line's M/s Cinderella, Viking Line's biggest ferry and most beautiful ship in the Baltic Sea. It has a panoramic elevator, a three-storey nightclub and a Wonderland for children.
The M/s Rosella sails between Mariehamn and Kapellskär, and offers a duty-free shop, several restaurants and the chance to dance to live music in the Fun Club. |
