About Cangas
Cangas, also known as Cangas do Morrazo, is a town in the muncipality of Galicia. It sits in a valley formed by the rivers Sella and Güeña.
The most iconic feature of Cangas is the Roman bridge which crosses the Sella river. The bridge has five arches, with a Victoria Cross hanging from the centre over the river.

Facilities at Cangas are limited, as the port is mainly a harbour for private fishing boats and yachts. The centre of town is just a short walk away where you will find restuarants, shops and cash machines.
Getting to Cangas
By Car
Cangas is located on the West coast of Spain and is just 35km from central Pontevedra. It can be reached from Pontevedra using the AP-9 and Corredor do Morrazo/CG-4.1 roads, which do include tolls.
