Naviera Armas was founded in 1941 by Antonio Armas Curbelo in Lanzarote. Initially operating freight services between the Canary Islands, the company gradually expanded into passenger transport and became one of Spain’s leading ferry operators.

As the business grew, Naviera Armas developed an extensive network linking the Canary Islands with mainland Spain and neighbouring regions.
