About Kimolos

Kimolos provides a tranquil holiday destination with quiet bars and taverns serving traditional Greek food in Chora and along the harbour. A variety of pizza called "Ladenia" is a speciality of Kimolos which is certainly well worth a try.

Kimolos is a volcanic mountainous island with lots of white cliffs, breathtaking landscapes, natural caves and secluded sandy beaches. The islands economy depends on the export of chalk and fishing to some extent.

Tourism isn't as developed in Kimolos as in the rest of the Greek islands and hence it is a getaway destination for those who prefer peace and quiet.

Kimolos Port

Kimolos ferry port is located on the South Western tip of the Cyclades Islands in the Aegean Sea. Kimolos got its name from the abundance of "Kimolia" (chalk) found on the island. Kimolos is a lesser known Greek island than the nearby Milos and Rhodes islands. Kimolos has an area of just 37 square kilometres. You can book all ferries from Kimolos with AFerry
