Ferries to and from Largs
Caledonian MacBrayne (CalMac) Ferries operates small, environmentally friendly hybrid vessels for sailings from Largs. Facilities on board are limited as the journey time is short.

Within a 5 minute walk along the main street you'll be in the town where you will find shops, restaurants and banks.
Getting to Kilchoan Port
From Glasgow, take M8 until Junction 28A and exit onto the A737 towards Irvine. At the Roadhead Roundabout in Lochwinnoch, take the third exit onto the A760. Stay with the A760 as it will lead you into the centre of Largs. Car parking is not available at the port but is available in the town centre (chargeable).
Largs train station is just 250m from the port and offers direct connections to and from Glasgow.
From Glasgow, take the X36 towards Ardrossan. Then at Bellstree Road, change to the 904 towards Largs. The bus station is in the centre of Largs, opposite the train station.
Largs is well known for its annual Viking Festival, celebrating the great battle of 1263. A range of battle re-enactments and historic displays mark the end of the Vikings reign in western Scotland. As a seaside resort, Largs offers plenty of leisure activities including golf, bowls, swimming and more.
