The Port of Puttgarden, located on the German island of Fehmarn, is a key hub for ferry travel between Germany and Denmark. Established in the 1960s as part of the Vogelfluglinie (Bird Flight Line) route, it connects Puttgarden to Rødby in Denmark, facilitating a vital transport link between Hamburg and Copenhagen.
The port’s strategic location and reliable ferry services make it a popular gateway for travellers and goods moving between Scandinavia and mainland Europe. Whether you’re embarking on a short trip or a longer journey, Puttgarden ensures a seamless maritime experience.
