Ferries to and from Sorrento
Navlib runs a fleet of 10 hydro-propelled jets and 2 catamarans. There is plenty of seating available on board each vessel allowing you to relax and enjoy the view of the coast.
Sorrento port facilities
The Sorrento port is located at the north of the town. When you arrive you will find parking and a variety of restaurants to choose from.
Getting to Sorrento
Travelling by car is a good choice. You can take the SS145 all the way to the town from Pompeii. If you are travelling further away from Pompeii, then you can get the A3 motorway first before joining the SS145.
Travelling by train is ideal for those who haven't got access to a car. Sorrento is well connected, and direct trains from Naples and Pompeii are available.
Sorrento is located in a great location for exploring the surrounding area, and would make a good base for an adventure holiday. From Sorrento you can catch the ferry to Capri, make a short journey to the end if the peninsula to see the best of the areas unspoilt countryside, visit the Amalfi Coast and take a short drive of train ride to historical and culturalal sites in Pompeii and Naples. Most of these activities are only within a 1 hour journey time too!
