Ferries to and from Tanger Med
Balearia has a modern, impressive fleet of ferries and offers excellent service. Most of their ships offer a range of cabin and seating options, a bar/cafeteria, restaurant, TV and shops.
On board a Grandi Navi Veloci you will find a la carte and self-service restaurants, a snack bar shops and children's play areas. Some ferries also feature a cinema, disco, swimming pool and even a gym if you want to tone up before hitting the beach at your destination.
FRS ferries describe themselves as 'The Fastest Link to Africa' and have the fastest crossing from Tarifa to Tanger (Tangier). The FRS fleet is very modern. Their largest vessel, the Tanger Jet II and can accommodate 900 passengers and 238 cars.
Inter Shipping operates all year round with two fastcraft vessels and one conventional ferry. The two fastcraft vessels sail to Tarifa with departures every two hours, while the conventional ferry sails to Algeciras 3 times a day.
