Ferries to and from Troon

The P&O Irish Sea operates the P&O Express on the Troon to Larne route. Facilities onboard include a restaurant, a bar and a shop.

About Troon

Getting to Troon

Located on the West coast of Scotland just South-West of Kilmarnock, Troon Ferry port can be reached via the A78 from the Irvine, north of Troon, or via the A77 from Kilmarnock. The ferry port will then be signposted.

National Express operates a frequent service to Glasgow and Ayr, but from there a taxi or a train will be needed to get to Troon Ferry Port.

The Troon train station is located about 25 minutes walk from the Troon Ferry terminal. There are trains every half hour to Glasgow and Paisley, as well as other connections to Ayr, Newcastle and Kilmarnock.
