About Vieste

Vieste is located in the Gargano National Park. This means that the town itself and surrounding areas are beautiful. If you enjoy hiking then there are plenty of trails you can enjoy, where you will witness stunning views of the sea, cliffs and villages. Vieste also has a lovely beach to relax on. The water is incredibly pure and clean, and has even received Blue Flags by the Foundation of Environmental Education for it's purity.

Vieste port facilities

The Vieste port is located at the north of the town next to the beach. Due to it's central location their are many facilities a stones throw away. You will easily be able to find somewhere to grab a drink or some food, though we recommend looking the side of the port nearer the beach.

Getting to Vieste

If you are travelling by car you will want to take the SS89 road. This will take you all the way to Vieste. If you are travelling from further afield in Italy, then jump on the A14 road to Foggia, where you can turn off onto the SS89.

Travelling by train is doable but is more complicated than driving. The best route to take would be to get a train to Foggia and then another train to Manfredonia. From here you can catch bus to Vieste.
