Northport Fremantle to Rottnest Island Ferry

The Port of Rottnest Island, located just off the coast of Perth in Western Australia, serves as the primary gateway for visitors to this stunning, car-free island. This well-maintained port connects Rottnest Island with mainland terminals in Fremantle, Perth, and Hillarys via several ferry operators. Upon arrival at the port, visitors can easily access the main settlement at Thomson Bay, where they’ll find bike rentals, cafes, shops, and various accommodation options. Fremantle is Western Australia's largest and busiest general cargo port, operating through two harbours. The Inner Harbour at Fremantle handles almost all of the container trade for Western Australia. It also provides facilities for livestock exports, motor vehicle imports, other general cargo trades, cruise ships, and visiting naval vessels.

The passenger terminal is on F and G Berths on Victoria Quay and a short walk from the centre of Fremantle. It has spacious halls for servicing large numbers of embarking and disembarking passengers.
