The Guillaume de Normandie is Brittany Ferries' forthcoming hybrid vessel, set to launch in 2025. Designed to operate on the busy Portsmouth to Caen route, it features advanced green technology, running on liquefied natural gas (LNG), battery power, or a hybrid of both. It will be capable of reducing CO₂ emissions by up to 25% and features plug-in capabilities for zero emissions while docked. It offers many comfortable cabins, pet-friendly facilities, and luxury amenities like restaurants, boutiques, and lounges. The ship will replace the 1992 Normandie, marking a key milestone in Brittany Ferries’ fleet modernization.
