TurboJET Ferries

TurboJET, established in 1962, is a prominent ferry operator in the Pearl River Delta region, offering high-speed passenger services. In 1999, Shun Tak Holdings and China Travel International Investment Hong Kong merged their ferry operations to form Shun Tak–China Travel Ship Management Limited, operating under the TurboJET brand.

The company operates one of the world's largest jetfoil fleets and was the first to provide round-the-clock jetfoil service. In 2003, TurboJET launched airport Routes in collaboration with Hong Kong International Airport, creating a seamless air-sea inter-modal system for international travellers. Despite challenges, TurboJET has maintained its leadership position in the high-speed passenger transportation industry.

TurboJET, a leading high-speed ferry operator in the Hong Kong-Macau region, has implemented several initiatives to promote environmental sustainability. Since 2014, the company has offered free Wi-Fi across all cabin classes, encouraging passengers to access news and information digitally, thereby reducing paper consumption.

Additionally, TurboJET's modern fleet comprises vessels equipped with advanced engine technology, such as General Electric LM500 and gas turbines, which contribute to efficient fuel consumption and reduced emissions. These efforts reflect TurboJET's commitment to integrating environmental considerations into its operations.
