Upon arrival at Ystad Port, there will be a well signposted entrance indicating which lane to take, this is ordered by which operator you will travel with. All passengers will stay in the lane of their chosen operator and continue to the check-in. Operators will utilise vehicle check-in within the same area and directly next to each other, however, check-in lanes and kiosks will differ for each operator type. The entrance to the check-in shows signs with the operator's names and 'vehicle check-in'. Vehicle and motorist passengers will continue to use the vehicle lanes, which will then direct all passengers to the embarkment area of the port where boarding will take place.

Check-in will be completed at the designated operator kiosks. From the terminal building there are convenient walkways and bridges leading directly to the ship. This is where all passengers will complete boarding.
