At Gothenburg port, the departure terminals are separated by destination and route. The Denmark terminal hosts the route for ferries to Frederikshavn. The Denmark terminal is further east on the Gota River close to the Masthugget District. The terminal is well-signposted from the E6 and can also be reached by tram. Please note that only certain departures from this terminal can be accessed by foot passengers. Departures that take place outside of port operating hours can not be utilised by foot passengers on this service. All motor passengers will enter using the vehicle check-in lanes located at the entrance of the terminal. Specific vehicles will use the indicated lanes accordingly. After check-in is complete, they will follow the lanes directly to the embarkment area. Foot passengers will check in at the Denmark Terminal building (within opening hours) which is located directly next to the vehicle check-in. Once check-in is complete they will use the passenger bridge and walkways to embark on their sailing.

At Gothenburg port, the departure terminals are separated by destination and route. The Germany terminal hosts the route for ferries to Kiel. The German terminal is further west on the Gota River close to the Alvsborgsbron bridge. The terminal is well-signposted from the E6 and can also be reached by tram. All motor passengers will check in using the vehicle lanes and desks located conveniently near the entrance. The lanes are numbered and indicate which vehicle should use which lane. After check-in is complete, the lanes will follow around to lead directly to the embarkment area. Foot passengers will check in at the Germany Terminal building which is located directly next to the vehicle check-in. The building has a nearby car park for the use of passengers who are dropped off or need to leave their vehicle at the port. Once check-in is complete they will use the passenger embarkment walkway to embark on their sailing.
