Isola del Giglio Ferries

Giglio Porto, which translates to "Giglio's harbour," is located on the island's east coast and is accessible by ferry from Porto Santo Stefano. Given that remnants of the ancient Roman port can still be found, its origins are ancient.

Today, Giglio Island's port is a tiny, colourful settlement that faces the ocean. It has two lighthouses and the ancient Saracen Tower, known as Torre del Saraceno. It's the centre of the island, particularly in the summer when all of the stores, pubs, and eateries are open late. All of the major services, including banks, the post office, pharmacies, and, as mentioned above, the ability to rent cars, bikes, or boats, are available in Giglio Porto. Cannelle, Caldane, and Arenella are a few of the Giglio's nicest beaches, which are conveniently accessible from the island's dock.

The island of Giglio is located on the Tuscan coast, 11 miles from the Argentario peninsula. It is 21 square kilometres in size, has a temperate climate, and is a haven for scuba divers, snorkelers, and swimmers.

The majority of the island is untamed and covered in Mediterranean flora, where unusual plant and animal species coexist peacefully. You'll lose yourself in a wonderful swirl of scents, breathtaking sunsets, vibrant hues, delectable cuisine, charming towns, and breathtaking beaches!
