The ferry company was founded in 1967 by the Corsican Pascal Lota under the name of Corsica Line with one ferry, the Corsica Express. The company has grown largely over the years and is today the market leader to Corsica and Sardinia.
Corsica Sardinia Ferries is the lead ferry operator on the Western Mediterranean Sea. The company transports over 2.8 million passengers annually.
The fleet currently consists of 14 vessels and over the years has slowly gained their fleet to get to this point.
Corsica Ferries outline their sustainable efforts and show this through their sustainable activities, there are no plastic bags to be used in the boutiques on board. Recycled paper is used in their offices and their brochures and information materials are printed on recycled paper.
Corsica Ferries also try to monitor and reduce their fuel consumption across all of their current ships.
