Our crossing was unfortunately disappointing.…

Our crossing was unfortunately disappointing. There were clearly too few sanitary facilities for the number of passengers. The toilets that were there were partially flooded and generally unclean. The first-class seats also fell short of expectations. Several electrically adjustable seats were broken. In rougher seas, many things rattled throughout the ship, reinforcing the impression that it was quite old. I found it particularly concerning that, in my opinion, more vehicles were allowed on board than was reasonable. In some cases, even restricted areas and escape routes were used for parking, which I consider a safety hazard. Given the high fare, I felt the value for money was not acceptable. On the positive side, the staff deserves special mention: all employees were very friendly and helpful and understood our concerns. It's a shame, therefore, that the ship's condition overshadowed the otherwise excellent service provided by the staff.
