Athara was a passenger and freight ferry that operated in the Mediterranean. Built in 2002, the vessel was used on a range of ferry crossings, supporting both passenger travel and freight transport.

Onboard facilities included restaurants, self-service dining areas, bars, lounges, and entertainment spaces such as a cinema. There were also areas for families and children.

The vessel was later transferred and now operates as GNV Phoenix within the GNV fleet.
