Tunisia has quickly become a popular tourist destination, attracting many visitors yearly thanks to its white sand beaches, exotic culture and architecture. Its seaside resorts are world-famous: Tabarka, Hammamet, Sousse and Djerba.

Tunisia is lulled by a Mediterranean climate, with mild winters and very hot summers. Tunisian culture and cuisine have been influenced by that of France during colonisation, and its architecture is reminiscent of Arab monuments. Tunisia is also renowned for the wealth of its archaeological sites, such as the site of the famous Roman Carthage.

Tunis is at the same time the administrative, political, cultural and economic capital of Tunisia. Open to the West, it lives at the same time to the rhythm of a thousand and one traditions from all corners of the country. The charm of this city lies in the perfect cohabitation of the past with the present. Thus, Tunis retains all its cultural and architectural wealth, while remaining open to modernity, with its old medina, surrounded by modern districts where state-of-the-art buildings and outdated facades dating from the colonial era mingle.

All these elements make Tunisia one of the most attractive tourist destinations, with more than five million tourists each year.

No complaints about the boat…

No complaints about the boat and its comfort. The crew was undoubtedly well-trained and professional. However, there's a slight drawback for an Italian company, as this boat and its crew have nothing Italian about them: neither the language nor the culture. Even the shop had nothing to do with that beautiful peninsula. The atmosphere was very artificial and sterile, more reminiscent of a northwestern company than what one would expect from a Mediterranean country. In conclusion: satisfied with the experience, but with a touch of disappointment.
