At Nynashamn port there are different terminals and locations based on the operator. Stena Line passengers will check-in and embark at the Stena Line Terminal located north of the main ferry terminal. Stena Line vehicle will approach the port and follow signs for 'check-in'. The vehicle lanes are marked conveniently for ease of navigation. Once check-in is complete, vehicle passengers will continue to follow the lanes around to the embarkment area, where all passengers will board.

Polferries and Destination Gotland passengers will check-in and embark at the Ferry Terminal on the south side of the port. There are two main kiosks, sorted depending on the operator. Once check-in is complete, foot passengers will use the designated exit to approach the walkway for the embarkment. All passengers will embark within the same area.
