Seajets History

In 1989, Panagiotis Iliopoulos and his son Marios founded Seajets. The company was formerly named Dolphin Sea Lines until it was renamed with the now-known branding 'Seajets'.

The company initially focused on fast and reliable connections to the Cyclades and other Aegean islands. Over the years, Seajets has significantly expanded its fleet, which now includes over 17 vessels, many of which are high-speed catamarans designed for quick island-hopping.

Seajets Sustainability

Seajets strives to adopt sustainable practices across its entire operation. The company has begun using cleaner fuels, optimising travel routes, and equipping vessels with energy-efficient technologies to minimise emissions. These initiatives align with their efforts to integrate renewable energy systems, such as installing solar panels on ferries and terminals.

Additionally, Seajets emphasises the importance of promoting eco-tourism and partnering with local stakeholders to safeguard marine ecosystems. This commitment complements their investment in carbon offset programs and support for environmental restoration projects.
