Equipped with an MTU hybrid propulsion system from Rolls-Royce, it operates emission-free in harbour areas and efficiently at sea. The ferry's diesel engines are compatible with hydrotreated vegetable oil, potentially reducing CO₂ emissions by up to 90%. This initiative is part of Liberty Lines' broader plan to introduce nine hybrid ferries between 2024 and 2027, enhancing sustainable transportation within the region.
