Upon arrival at Heraklion Port, you will be met with the main entrance that leads directly onto the open and spacious ferry terminal. There are multiple ticket offices around the open space, so tickets can be purchased during operating hours. There are many different public transportation options surrounding the port. These options include buses, tour buses and taxis. The main taxi rank is situated across from the main passenger terminal. All passengers will embark and check in within the same area. The Ferries all dock along the same quay and are very easy to locate upon arrival. The ferries will usually dock next to each other on either Pier I or Pier11. The port is extremely open and easy to navigate as it is situated across one strip of land.
