      On board AlsFærgen ferries

      AlsFærgen currently operates one vessel between Bojden and Fynshav, the M/V Thor Sydfyen. On board facilities on this modern well equipped ferry include a bistro restaurant/cafe which sells freshly made Smorrebrod (Danish open sandwiches), snacks and hot and cold drinks. There are also a number of play areas for children inside and outside.

      Outside on the sun deck you can enjoy a view overlooking the South Funen Archipelago and if you are lucky, you might be able to spot both whales and porpoises on your journey.

        The Pig Boat

        • Just to say that we understand that pig farming is important in Als but there has to be some way of masking the stench of pigs being transported by lorry on this ferry - it is quite simply nauseating!!!

        Short Pleasant Trip

        • This is quite a short trip. Takes about an hour at sea. Almost everybody spoke English which was a relief! Lots of seating. A nice view as we came into port. All together a pleasant and relaxing journey that was all part of a wonderful enjoyable European honeymoon.
