About Boulogne
About Boulogne
Boulogne - or Boulogne-Sur-Mer as it is properly known is the ideal tourist destination in France. Located in Nord-Pas-de-Calais, it is a stunning seaside town full of hotels, restaurants and bars. The town itself appears to consist of two parts. The lower part is connected to the sea and fishing and features Nausicaà, the National Sea Centre. The upper half is where you will find the castle museum, basilica and belfry.Boulogne will also delight foodies. Especially seafood fans. Mussels and fries (moules et frites) are a must try but you'll find a variety of fresh fish.

the boarding was a pleasant experience. Embarking would have been better if we were released 10to 20mins later than experienced, as we sat in our cars for over 20mins..not a problem for adults save for very young children (3 children less than 9yrs old)

10 NovEasy on Slow off.

Overall a very good experience after suffering the usual motorway hold ups. Boarding was fine and the two hour meal break on board was fine. It's all ok just the getting off at the other end...soooo slow! Otherwise all ok.
