About Gili Trawangan
Gili Trawangan is the biggest of 3 Gili islands that lie in Indonesia north - west from the island of Lombok. The name Trawagnan derives from word Terowongan which means tunnel build during Japanese occupation in WW2. The island is great place to take a rest on peaceful and quiet sandy beaches.
