What are the check-in times for Stena Line ferries from Harwich to Hook of Holland?
For the 09:00 departure, check-in opens at 07:45 and closes at 08:15 for all passengers (local times). For the 23:00 departure, check-in opens at 20:30 and closes at 22:15 for all passengers (local times). All passengers will report to and check-in at the Ferry terminal at Harwich. The port is clearly signposted and is easy to navigate on arrival. There are several ways to approach the port by road: From the M11: Leave at Junction 8 and join the A120 eastwards, heading for Braintree and Colchester. From the M25: Take the A12 at Junction 28 (signposted Chelmsford) and then join the A120 at Colchester, after approximately 30 miles. From the A14: Take the A12 at Ipswich and join the A120 at Colchester. There is a separate lane for passenger vehicles, this creates a direct route to the check-in booths for cars, providing a straightforward check-in and embarkment process. Cars, foot passenger coaches, bicycles and motorcycles will enter at the same point of the entrance to the port. Specified check-in areas for each type of passenger will be marked on arrival. Port staff are usually available for further assistance if needed.
