International Passenger Terminal (Vehicle Access)
The Port of Tyne international terminal is easily accessible and can be reached by car, bus or metro. Taxis are also available from the port. The port has three separate check-in areas, one for foot passengers, motorists and the other for freight bookings. The three separate check-in areas are easily distinguishable by the sign posts and lane markings. Motorist passengers will enter at the main entrance and the vehicle check-in lanes will be to the left in front of the passenger building. There are multiple check-in lanes to utilise. Once check-in is complete, vehicles will follow the lanes through to the embarkment area where all passengers will board.

The Port of Tyne international terminal is easily accessible and can be reached by car, bus or metro. Taxis are also available from the port. The port hosts three separate check-in areas, one for foot passengers, motorists and the other for freight bookings. Foot passengers will check-in using the passenger building to the left of the entrance. There are several facilities available within the building including directions and walkways to the embarkment area. Passengers will be directed to use the foot passenger walkway or bridge to access their sailing directly from the terminal.

I find that DFDS clearly…
I find that DFDS clearly outperforms its competitor on the NL-UK routes. Both in terms of onboard service and cabin space, everything was simpler and handled perfectly by the entire crew. Thank you, and see you next time!
I had a lovely crossing…
I had a lovely crossing and thoroughly enjoyed it. The buffet was not great and I would have really preferred to be able to order a simple salad or hamburger as I just wanted something light and not heavy on the wallet either. The coffeeshop was good and carrot cake made a good dinner substitute. Staff were super friendly and my bed very comfortable.
