Palermo Ferry Port Information
Palermo is the regional capital of Sicily; its ferry port is on the northwest coast of the island. In the Middle Ages, Palermo was one of the premier cities in Europe, but today it is still recovering from its twentieth-century ruin. Palermo's historic centre, Quattro Canti, in the form of a large octagonal square, is the main attraction in the city's old quarter. Many churches, structures, monuments, and other historical sites of interest are located in or near Palermo's Quattro Canti.

Santa Lucia Passage
The entrance to the Palermo Port will differ depending on which operator you travel with. For this quay the entrance is Varco Santa Lucia. For all GNV and Grimaldi passengers, customers will enter, check in and embark at the Molo Saint Lucia quay. Check-in will be completed at the entrance to the quay where passengers will then be directed to the embarkment area of the location. There are clear signposts leading to the port which indicate direction and entrance. If still unsure, port staff are usually available to help further with any questions.

Sammuzzo Passage
The entrance at Palermo Port will slightly differ based on the operator you have chosen to travel with. The Varco Sammuzzo entrance will lead you to the Liberty Lines embarkment. Check-in will be completed at the entrance to the quay, where passengers will then be directed to the embarkment area of the location. The area is well-signposted upon arrival to provide easy access for passengers. However, port staff are usually available upon arrival to assist further if needed.

Amari Passage
The entrance at Palermo Port will slightly differ based on the operator you have chosen to travel with. The Varco Amari entrance will lead you to the Molo Piave quay in which Tirrenia Ferries will dock. Some GNV ferries may dock on the left side of the Molo Piave, however Tirrenia is the main operator located on this quay. Check-in will be completed at the entrance to the quay where passengers will then be directed to the embarkment area of the location. The area is well-signposted upon arrival to provide easy access for passengers. However, port staff are usually available upon arrival to assist further if needed.

Colombo Passage
This gate acts as the main entrance to the Palermo Port. All vehicles can access the port from this point and find their terminal to check-in and embark. The access is well signposted, however, port staff are usually available to assist further with directions.
