I find that DFDS clearly outperforms its competitor on the NL-UK routes. Both in terms of onboard service and cabin space, everything was simpler and handled perfectly by the entire crew. Thank you, and see you next time!
I had a lovely crossing and thoroughly enjoyed it. The buffet was not great and I would have really preferred to be able to order a simple salad or hamburger as I just wanted something light and not heavy on the wallet either. The coffeeshop was good and carrot cake made a good dinner substitute. Staff were super friendly and my bed very comfortable.
In the cabin, we really missed the option to make coffee or tea. This was possible at P&O. The coffee at the bar is of mediocre quality. The shower, however, was very nice.
